Cyberabad Traffic Police have urged companies to shift to a work-from-home model on Wednesday, in view of anticipated heavy rainfall and associated disruptions.
The Cyberabad Police issued an official advisory, recommending businesses take precautionary steps to avoid movement-related challenges. The notice cites potential road congestion, emergency service accessibility concerns, and employee safety as the primary reasons for the advisory.
Officials noted that sustained rainfall is likely to hamper transportation and city-wide mobility, particularly during peak hours. "To minimize disruption to public services and reduce traffic volume, companies are advised to enable remote operations for their employees," said a statement from the Cyberabad Joint Commissioner’s office.
